Denver Youth Ultimate

This Summer 2008 there will be a youth league night in Boulder Monday nights from 7:00 to 8:00. I'm looking to run the league from June 16 to August 5. The location is TBA and the ages are 19 and under, Must be a UPA member and 18 years and under player registrations must be accompanied with a UPA MED. authorization form. Basically the same registration rules for DSYUL apply to the Boulder youth league.
The purpose of the Boulder Youth league is to increase the availability of recreational league play to youth ultimate players that are to far a distance from Denver. The league will be Coed. More info will be available soon, Buzz

DSYUL 2008 Registration is open! Tuesday June 10th will kick off the season ! This Summer league begins on Tuesday night, June 10th and will run to Tuesday night, August 5th.

Captains and selected coaches are expected to bring teams in on the first night and have players introduce them selves (go around in the team circle and say names)and then break up for a simple drill before game time. Everyone plays. If the captain gets a sense that younger players are hesitant to put themselves in the game then the captain will facilitate a situation for that player to get involved in a positive way. Remember, we've all been there! Have fun with it ! See ya Tuesdays at 7:00 pm !

Colorado Girls Cutthroat is looking forward to making another great showing at the Youth Club Championships in Blaine Minn. This August 9 and 10 2008. We have a small but strong core returning and hoping to allign with some new talent from the high school ranks this spring. Tryouts will be in mid May 2008. Dates and Times TBA, Buzz

With a hard fought quarter final loss during the hard cap against Pittsburg at YCC 2007, the open squad will be looking to regain a higher placing at this summer's championship, Buzz

Summer league fees are $45.00 for UPA members, and $65.00 for non UPA members

Registrations must be accompanied by a UPA waiver and release of liability(if not a current UPA member), and a UPA medical authorization form (version 1.3)(for everyone under the age of 18) . Both of these can be found and downloaded at the Ultimate Players Association web site.
